Summer Limoncello Cake

Sharing this Giada recipe today. Was really feeling the last of summer vibes this weekend and wanted to use the bright fresh flavors of summer before we head into fall!


Giada doesn’t call for covering the top with candied lemons but I thought it would be a nice touch.


To candy the lemons simply cut them as fine as you can and place them in a water (3/4 cup), sugar (1 cup), lemon juice ( 2 Tbs) mixture on medium high heat in a sauce pan. Lay the lemons flat in one layer. Leave them there for 16 minutes, flipping them once in the middle.
